Upper Moreland Starts Plastic Bottle Recycling!
How to recycle plastics... Its easy!

  • Place acceptable plastics in your regular green recycling bucket/can on normal trash day. It is okay to mix with your current glass-bottle and can recycling, but the container must weigh less than 20 pounds and be 20 gallons or less in size.
  • Recycle only #1 and #2 plastic bottles that come to a neck at the top. This includes most soda bottles, plastic milk bottles, and laundry soap bottles.
  • Look on the bottom of the bottle – if it has no number or any number but 1 or 2 inside a triangle stamped on the bottom, throw it away with trash. More
