When will my street be salted/plowed?

The Township’s Public Works Department is responsible for
plowing and salting the roads in Upper Moreland Township.
Salting begins on primary highways as soon as
snow or freezing rain starts to fall.

Plowing begins after
3-4 inches of snow accumulation.
After
primary routes are clear, plows/salt trucks proceed to dedicated secondary
routes.
