10 Year Comprehensive Plan

In the fall of 2006 the Board of Commissioners appointed a Steering Committee to oversee the development of the Parks and Recreation 10-year Comprehensive Plan. For the past nine months the Steering Committee, along with the consultant, held public meetings, performed surveys, and gathered community input to formulate our comprehensive plan. The Steering Committee recommended the attached plan to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, July 9, 2007. The Board of Commissioners is considering adoption of the plan at this time and welcomes all comments. For your review we are pleased to present the Parks and Recreation 10-Year Comprehensive Plan

Recreation Leagues

The Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of leagues for adults age 18 and over. We accept team registrations, but will place individuals on availability listing should teams need players. Team fees are due in full prior to the seasons start. During the spring/summer season we provide Men's, Women's, and Co-ed Adult Softball Leagues. Games are played at various locations within the Township and on specific nights of the week. All games are officiated by quality Amateur Softball Officials. Read More
